Are you a Qualified Teacher with a passion for making a difference?
Are you seeking a new challenge where you can truly impact the lives of young learners?
If you're passionate about making a difference, we want to hear from you
We’re looking for experienced and resilient QTS teachers to join our team as tutors, supporting students who do not access a traditional school setting.
In this rewarding role, you will work with children and young adults in their homes, local libraries, or community centres. Your goal will be to re-engage them with their education, fostering a love for learning and building positive relationships with both the learners and their families.
We work with a diverse group of pupils, each with unique challenges that prevent them from accessing traditional school environments. Some have been permanently excluded due to behavioural issues, others experience high-functioning anxiety that makes busy classrooms overwhelming, and some have disabilities or additional needs that require them to learn from home. We are seeking dedicated tutors who are resilient, compassionate, and skilled at creating engaging, personalised learning sessions tailored to each pupil's developmental stage.
We offer flexible working arrangements that can be tailored to fit around your schedule and commitments, whether you’re looking for full-time or part-time work.
If you’re a dedicated teacher who can inspire and motivate students, we’d love to hear from you. Join us and make a real difference in the lives of learners.

Positive Impact: Tutors play a vital role in shaping students' academic success and confidence, which can have a lasting positive impact on their lives.
Brief Overview of the role
Supporting disengaged pupils as a home tutor requires a multifaceted approach. The tutor must build a trusting relationship with the student, identify the underlying causes of disengagement, and create a personalised learning plan that aligns with the student’s interests and needs. Setting clear goals and using motivational techniques are crucial for fostering engagement. Incorporating interactive and relevant materials can make learning more appealing, while regular communication with parents or guardians ensures a consistent support system. Patience and flexibility are essential, as progress may be gradual, requiring the tutor to adapt methods and encourage self-reflection to help the student reconnect with their education.
Responsibilities:
Provide one-on-one tutoring sessions tailored to the pupil's individual needs
Engage in sensory based activities/ brain break activities
Teach how to turn take and tolerate others in their personal space.
Develop and implement individualised learning plans that incorporate strategies to support the pupil's desired outcomes and needs
Utilize a variety of teaching methods to engage the pupil and accommodate their learning style.
Monitor the pupil's progress and adapt strategies as necessary to ensure continuous improvement.
Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other professionals involved in the pupil's care to provide a holistic support system.
Maintain detailed records of the pupil's progress and any incidents, communicating regularly with parents and other stakeholders.
Qualifications/ Experience:
Ideally a QTS qualification/ or specialist experience supporting pupils with additional needs
Proven experience working with learners who have barriers to learning.
In-depth knowledge and understanding of the curriculum
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping children succeed.
Ability to create a safe, supportive, and stimulating learning environment.
Experience working within an educational or therapeutic setting.
Ability to read and analyse EHCP, plan accordingly, and assess the pupils progress.
What We Offer:
A supportive and collaborative work environment.
Ongoing professional development opportunities.
The chance to make a meaningful impact on a child's life.
Flexible working hours to accommodate the needs of the pupil and tutor.
