Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Home Tutor to join our team at SMART Education Recruitment. As a Home Tutor, you will work with students who require additional support and guidance to succeed academically.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide one-on-one tutoring sessions tailored to the student's individual needs
  • Engage in sensory-based activities and brain break activities to promote learning and engagement
  • Teach strategies to support the student's desired outcomes and needs
  • Monitor the student's progress and adapt strategies as necessary to ensure continuous improvement
  • Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other professionals involved in the student's care to provide a holistic support system
Requirements
  • Ideal QTS qualification or specialist experience supporting pupils with additional needs
  • Proven experience working with learners who have barriers to learning
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of the curriculum
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Patient, empathetic, and passionate about helping children succeed
