Tradewind Recruitment are working with a SEN School in Walsall who are looking for a caretaker to start in January.

We are seeking an individual who:

Has experience in caretaking and excellent DIY and repair skills
Is self-motivated and able to work under pressure, using their own initiative
Is honest and trustworthy
Is able to identify and prioritise their work effectively and organise their own work schedule, ensuring that all jobs are completed to the highest standard
Takes pride in their work and the condition of the school and grounds
Has a flexible, positive and 'can-do' attitude and is confident in using a computer
Enhanced DBS requirement
This post will involve lone working

You will be responsible for:

Overall provision of security, janitorial and cleaning at the school
The management of repairs and maintenance of the school site
Monitoring the work of external contractors on site
Sourcing materials and managing a small budget
Some general maintenance at our partner school, Kings Norton Nursery School, as required.
