The Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and ambitious Account Manager to join our team, with a primary focus on managing and growing our UK Discounter, Wholesaler, and Export business.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Management: You will be responsible for managing key accounts and developing trading relationships with other National and Regional Discounters.
Wholesaler and Export Development: Manage key UK wholesalers and further develop our Export business.
Business Growth: Drive growth in existing accounts while also identifying and securing new listings and distribution opportunities. This role is ideal for a "hunter" mindset, someone who is driven, tenacious, and eager to prove themselves.
Commercial Acumen: Use your strong selling and negotiation skills to create compelling proposals, negotiate pricing, and closely manage spend to maximise ROI and profitability.
Performance Reporting: Provide accurate and timely reporting of sales performance and communicate all business opportunities and risks to ensure alignment with budgetary goals.
About You:
Proven track record in developing and growing business with UK Discounters and wholesalers.
Demonstrable success in winning new business, securing new listings, and expanding product distribution.
Strong commercial capability, with excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
Ability to manage complexity and demonstrate high levels of personal ownership and accountability.
