Project Coordinator

Salary: Up to £40,000 – Depending on experience

Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am – 4:30pm

We are supporting a well-established, growing business in Shrewsbury who are looking to recruit a skilled and motivated Project Coordinator who can support the operations team with driving the pace and progress of multiple projects, ensuring efficient, speed and quality delivery of customer orders from order receipt through to successful installation at customer sites. Although you will be coordinating projects at customer sites across the UK, this role will be based from the clients head office based in Shrewsbury.

This will be a key new appointment within the business and you will be working as part of a small, but growing and successful business who are renowned in their market for quality innovation, and who are growing at rapid speed (already exceeding their financial turnover targets for the years ahead).

The Project Coordinator will be responsible for:

* Driving multiple customer projects for customer sites throughout the UK

* Ensuring all customer site preparation and setup’s are complete

* Liaising with manufacturers to ensure effective materials and components availability for project milestones

* Ensure all site sub-contract services are performing as required

* Ensure all technical checks for sites are completed

* Ensure health & Safety and toolbox talks are completed

* Attend Pre-start and any other site meetings (normally via video call)

Skills and Experience:

* Previous experience in either a Project Coordinator / Project Manager role withing a Engineering / Construction or manufacturing business where you have been responsible for coordinating moving parts or managing multiple installations

* Able to interpret and read technical engineering drawings

* An understanding of fabrications processes would be ideal

* You will be a driven, goal orientated person who will be a natural communicator who can positively influence project pace and progress.
