A genuinely superb & quite unique opportunity for a Maintenance Manager to join a company during a period a growth, investment and modernisation.
The Job:
* Reporting into the Engineering Manager. Direct reports will be EC&I Supervisor, Maintenance Supervisor, Engineering Planner.
* Team Management: Lead and manage the Maintenance Supervisors and Engineering Planner who have responsibility mechanical fitters, electricians, apprentices, Including recruitment, training, and scheduling. 24/7 site. Help build and grow the team and set the culture.
* Maintenance Planning and Scheduling: Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance schedules, ensuring timely repairs and upkeep of facilities, equipment, and machinery to optimise availability. Be CMMS focused through out.
* Efficiency: Always look for opportunities to improve efficiency of the department or equipment, also look for openings for standardisation of machines or components can be achieved.
* Budget Management: Prepare and manage the maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions.
* Inventory Management: Develop and build an inventory of spare parts and tools in the CMMS.
The Person:
* Degree or HNC in Engineering with a minimum of 3 years experience
* Experience of managing or operating boilers. BOAS qualification preferable
* Experience of continuous improvement.
* Experience of various condition monitoring techniques such as vibration, ultrasonics, infrared etc.
* Good communication, stakeholder engagement and collaboration skills important.
