Salary: £83.40 - £105 per day

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEMH Teaching Assistant on behalf of a vibrant and supportive school. This role is designed to address the increasing number of students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, with potential to transition into a permanent position. Join a committed team focused on making a meaningful difference in students' lives.

Role Responsibilities:

Student Support: Provide individualised and small-group support to help SEMH students meet their educational and developmental goals.
Collaboration with Staff: Work closely with the Lead SEMH TA, Heads of Year, and the Inclusion team to support SEMH provision across the school day.
Supervision and Welfare: Promote a safe, nurturing environment by supervising and ensuring the welfare of SEMH students.
Resource Management: Assist in the organisation and maintenance of SEMH resources to ensure students have access to the right support.
The successful SEMH TA will have:

Experience working within SEND settings
Experience supporting children in groups or 1:1
Excellent classroom management
A caring and nurturing personality
