About The Role
The Cherry Tree is a 4-bed residential care home in Cheam We support adults with autism and complex behaviour to live a happy and active lifestyle while achieving their personal goals and aspirations, as well as living the life they love. The individuals we support here at the Cherry Tree love to ride their bikes round the local parks and taking walks too We love day tips to visit new places, as well as heading down to the local town centre to shop or pop in somewhere for a coffee. We love to go for picnics together and we also love swimming We love to spend time with our friends and catching up with family.
As a Support Worker, you will be at the forefront of providing high-quality, enabling care. Every day brings new challenges and rewards, making this a truly fulfilling role. You'll be key in helping us achieve our goal of being the best in the field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Individual Outcome and Wellbeing: Implement person-centered support plans, promote independence, manage risks, encourage relationships, and ensure legal and best practice compliance.
- Activity Planning: Develop flexible, engaging activity plans that promote autonomy and personal growth.
- Health and Lifestyle: Support individuals in maintaining healthy lifestyles and managing their health needs.
- Communication: Facilitate effective communication and maintain detailed, person-centered records.
- Medication Management: Oversee medication processes and support individuals in self-administration.
- Safety and Environment: Maintain a safe, clean-living environment and adhere to health and safety protocols.
