ICT Technician

Are you passionate about supporting students in their creative and technical learning? Our welcoming and dynamic secondary school in Warington is seeking a full-time ICT technician to join our team immediately This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to work in a school environment and contribute to the hands-on development of students' technical skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist teachers and staff with any technical issues and equipment for lessons.
Support students during lessons, ensuring safety and guidance in using machinery and tools.
Maintain and monitor IT equipment and machinery, ensuring it is safe and operational..
Carry out routine checks, maintenance, and cleaning of workshop tools and machinery.
Ensure all tech complies with health and safety regulations.
Help with creating an inspiring and organised learning environment.

Requirements:

A keen interest in ICT with a proactive, can-do attitude.
Basic knowledge of IT equiptment
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work well in a team and support teaching staff and students effectively.
Previous experience as a ITechnician is preferred but not essential.
A valid DBS check on the update service is required or willingness to obtain one before starting.This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the smooth running of the DT department in a vibrant school setting.
