As an Estate Surveyor at Hillingdon, you will be at the forefront of managing and enhancing our valuable estate portfolio. Although starting as a six-month contract, this role is poised to evolve into a permanent fixture, reflecting your contribution to our progressive journey. With hybrid working and a competitive daily rate of £400, this role offers both flexibility and the chance to make a tangible impact. Your task? To navigate landlord and tenant law and practice with skill, ensuring our properties are managed with expertise and care. Your office extends beyond the four walls into the outstretched plains of Hillingdon, a borough you will learn to appreciate as much as we do.

Demonstrable experience in estate management, ideally within a council or public sector context.
Profound knowledge of Landlord and Tenant Law, ensuring compliance and innovative solutions in estate dealings.
Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with various stakeholders, including tenants, contractors, and council members.
Ability to manage and resolve property-related issues promptly and efficiently, optimising asset value.
Experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating leases, licences, and other property agreements. Preferred Qualifications:

A degree or equivalent qualification in estate management, property management, or a related field.
Membership with a professional body such as the RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors).
