About the Role:

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will work alongside the Engineering team and Operational teams covering all Pets Choice Blackburn sites on Lower Philips Road.

Key Responsibilities:

General building and grounds maintenance across Pets Choice Blackburn sites from odd jobs to larger projects
Working closely with the Engineering Department and liaising with other departments such as the Warehouse and Head Office
Undertake Maintenance tasks as directed and prioritise urgent tasks
Maintaining Building fabric
Ensure standards and procedures are adhered to and work closely with Health & Safety
Maintain workshop and tools to Good Manufacturing Practices requirements
Assist engineering maintenance team members as required
Assist in the improvement of Health & Safety standards across all sites
Record all works on the CMMS system
Work collaboratively and engage with other members of the wider Pets Choice team
Support the delivery of continuous improvement action plans
Support with developing the maintenance schedule alongside the Engineering Manager
Maintain a safe and clean environment for all
Heay lifting as required
Indoor and outdoor work
Occasional travel and use of company vehicles
About you:

Demonstrate the ability to work with a varying selection of tools
Ability to work independently and with a team when required
Painting, joinery, plumbing and other building maintenance skills
A good communicator at all levels
Ability to balance multiple priorities
A problem solver with an eye for detail and accuracy
A dynamic self-starter with a positive, enthusiastic, can-do attitude
Must be fluent in English, verbal and written
Building qualification would be desirable
