Job Description:

* Verify component compliance at all production stages within the business.

* Offer first article inspection support as needed.

* Identify recurring quality issues, communicating these to the Quality Engineering team along with improvement recommendations.

* Assist in the 5Y quality process and support root cause analysis for product failures.

* Manage non-conformities in accordance with internal company procedures.

* Represent the quality function in team meetings.

* Foster and enhance relationships with quality contacts within our customer base.

* Support and promote improvement activities that directly enhance our products and manufacturing processes.

* Collaborate in cross-functional teams to assist in business development, growth, and improvement projects as needed.

* Support, maintain, and improve the company's quality management system and participate in internal audits when requested.

Skills & Experience:

* Experienced in an engineering background

* Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications

* Technical knowledge & experience within the aerospace sector preferred

* Competent in using the following equipment; verniers, micrometres, bore micrometers, height gauges, DTI (Digital Test Indicators)

* Experience of operating CMM machines (PCDMIS desirable)

* Provide 1st Article Inspection Reports

* Knowledge of ISO9001 Management Systems (AS9100 desirable)
