School Caretaker
Kingston upon Thames

Our fantastic partner school is seeking a reliable and dedicated School Caretaker for a permanent position in Kingston upon Thames. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, security, and cleanliness of the school premises.

Responsibilities:

Perform general maintenance and minor repairs
Ensure the security of the school buildings and grounds
Conduct regular health and safety checks
Maintain cleanliness of the school, including classrooms, restrooms, and common areas
Manage waste disposal and recycling
Oversee heating, lighting, and alarm systems
Liaise with external contractors and suppliers
Support school events and activities by setting up and dismantling equipment as needed
Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements:

Previous experience in a similar role preferred
Basic maintenance and repair skills
Strong organisational and time-management skills -
Good communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to work independently and as part of a team -
Enhanced DBS check required
