Our client currently requires a Senior Procurement Manager – Risk Management to join their Supply Chain team.
Role Responsibilities
Implement and maintain a robust procurement risk management framework and methodology, in line with company processes
Identify, assess, and prioritise potential risks throughout the procurement lifecycle
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including project procurement managers, strategic supplier relationship managers, supply chain management team and senior leadership
Support the development of risk mitigation strategies and oversee implementation of mitigation action by the project procurement manager community
Conduct regular risk audits, drive governance reviews internally and lead supplier mass engagements activities
Support the supplier on-boarding and risk assessment process
Manage and maintain the procurement risk register
Stay up-to-date on industry best practices in procurement risk management and embody these practices into our procurement risk management framework
Support the implementation, adoption and training of tools and solutions related to risk management
About you
You’ll bring experience of working in procurement roles, with a strong focus on risk management
You have a proven track record of developing and implementing successful risk management strategies
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with risk management software systems (ideally in ARM/riskonnect)
Ideally, you will hold, or working towards, a qualification or certification related to procurement and/or risk management (e.g. CIPS/World Commerce & Contracting/IRM)Overview

This is a 12 Month Fixed Term contract position
65K, paid overtime, bonus scheme, benefit package, career progression.
