Role:

* As Technical Sales Engineer you will work to manage new tooling and transfer tooling projects from initial enquiry through to production

* In the role of Technical Sales Engineer, you will represent the company in meetings with customers both over the phone and face to face

* The successful Technical Sales Engineer will manage all commercial issues relating to product pricing and new project costings

* Acting as the first point of contact for RFQ’s, presenting quotes to the customers and negotiating sales price

* Overall account management of key customer accounts

* Maintain knowledge of industry trends, developments and awareness of new processes

* Build strong business relationships with customers and prospective customers

* Gain a strong understanding of customers’ technical requirements to be able to develop and present design engineering solutions

* Identifying and pursuing new business leads and opportunities

* Generating new business enquiries through direct outreach methods

* Review and develop the company sales and marketing approach

* Review of pricing to grow margin and minimize the impact of inflation

Experience Requirements:

* Candidates MUST HAVE experience within injection moulding manufacturing / toolmaking

* Technical understanding of injection mould tooling

* Strong communication skills both written and verbal

* Ability to read and understand technical drawings

* Good negotiation skills

* Project management skills
