Senior Quantity Surveyor

The Company: We are working with a relatively new building contractor who have picked up a variety of projects in the North West that will be on site until 2026, with more work coming after that. They take on their own developments and are also working with a blue-chip public and private sector client base.
They have grown exponentially over the last few years building excellent relationships with clients and are a part of a larger Construction Group who are very cash rich so have excellent financial backing. They have very well-respected and experienced employees and a knowledgeable senior management team including a Commercial Manager and Director who both have over 20 years’ experience working with leading Contractors and Developers.
The Role: They are now in a position to add a Senior Quantity Surveyor to the team due to a number of recent, new project awards and a healthy pipeline of future work for 2025.
You will report in to a Commercial Manager who will provide ongoing support and will have an Assistant QS who will support you.
You will be involved in your projects through pre-construction to gain a great understanding of the schemes and to be able to let subcontract packages, make orders etc in plenty of time and will then work closely with the delivery and technical teams to reach a successful commercial outcome on the projects.
The role will mainly be office based with a few visits to the site.
You: You will be based in or be able to commute to their office/sites in the North West of England.
You will be IT literate and contractually aware.
They would like to recruit a Quantity Surveyor who have worked on big projects outside of housing like multi-million-pound building projects.
They would like to recruit a Quantity Surveyor who has worked on significant building projects working with JCT Contracts
Rewards: You will receive a great salary and package that includes a variety of benefits and includes a significant bonus.
As a member of a small, growing Commercial team there are very clear routes in to more senior level roles for the right person.
You will be a member of a regional commercial team where your thoughts and ideas will be appreciated
