Major Recruitment are looking for an experienced Engineering Maintenance Compliance Planner for our successful food manufacturing client in Evesham, this is a permanent position and is an excellent opportunity for the right person.

Key Responsibilities:

Engineering Maintenance Planning

Production PPM Maintenance: Schedule routine equipment services, ensuring all related paperwork is audit-ready.
Industrial PPM Maintenance: Coordinate and schedule industrial equipment services, ensuring compliance documentation is prepared for audits.
Contractor Service Scheduling: Liaise with contractors and coordinate visits, ensuring alignment with production availability.
Machine Downtime Coordination: Arrange machine downtime with Production for maintenance and servicing.

CWorks CMMS Management

Software Implementation: Lead software updates and improvements.
Daily Operations: Monitor work requests, work orders, purchasing, and materials within the CMMS system.
PPM and Condition-Based Monitoring: Generate and maintain weekly schedules for both production and industrial engineering equipment.
Maintenance Schedules: Develop and implement new maintenance routines as required.
Asset Register: Ensure the asset register is consistently updated.
System Support: Act as the main point of contact for CWorks support and resolve any site-related CWorks issues.
Site Administrator: Oversee and administer the CWorks system for the site.

Compliance Management

Statutory Inspections: Plan and coordinate mandatory insurance inspections (e.g., LOLER, PUWER, PSSR) to ensure compliance.
Corrective Works Monitoring: Track, action, and document corrective measures for L8-related issues (e.g., cooling towers, domestic water systems, chlorine dioxide).
Food Safety Compliance: Ensure all new and existing equipment complies with food safety standards, including material compliance and conformity declarations.
Equipment Calibration and Inspection: Ensure all equipment is regularly calibrated and inspected, maintaining up-to-date records.
Document Compliance: Oversee engineering documentation, ensuring alignment with company procedures and standards.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all maintenance activities are carried out according to risk assessments and applicable regulations (e.g., Working at Height, COSHH).
Project Support: Provide support for projects to ensure new equipment and methodologies meet compliance standards.
Technical Support: Assist Technical teams with equipment queries and offer guidance on compliance matters.
Site Drawings and Process Flows: Support projects and technical teams in creating site drawings and process flows using AutoCAD.

General Administration

Contractor Management: Oversee contractor permits, inductions, and RAMS to ensure smooth integration and compliance with site requirements.
Engineering Team Oversight: Monitor engineering attendance and overtime to ensure operational efficiency.
Cross-Department Communication: Keep all relevant departments informed when contractors are working in their respective areas.

KPI and Documentation Management

Engineering KPIs: Monitor and generate key performance indicators (KPIs) and conduct data analysis for the Engineering team.
Purchase Orders: Raise and receive purchase orders, ensuring timely processing.
Audit Readiness: Maintain engineering documentation in an audit-ready state at all times.
Email Correspondence: Read and respond to emails promptly to ensure effective communication across departments.

Candidate Requirements:

We are looking for a highly organised and proactive individual with a strong background in engineering maintenance and compliance. The ideal candidate will have:

Proven track record in scheduling and managing Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) in a production or industrial setting.
Hands-on experience with CMMS, such as CWorks.
Strong understanding of industry regulations and compliance requirements (LOLER, PUWER, PSSR, L8).
AutoCAD Skills: Basic knowledge of AutoCAD for site drawings and process flows.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues quickly.
Effectively communicate with internal teams, contractors, and suppliers.
