Supply Chain Coordinator / Stock Controller | Immingham | up to £30,000 | UK wide travel

We are looking for a driven, enthusiastic Stock Controller who is wanting to take the next step in their Supply Chain career.

The Opportunity:

This is an opportunity for a candidate with experience working in a warehouse/inventory environment who is looking to expand their skillset and progress into the rail industry.
As UK wide travel is essential, this would be an opportunity to explore the UK and work in an autonomous position, taking full ownership of role.
The role of Supply Chain Coordinator offers hybrid working with plenty of flexibility, autonomy in the role – noting that this individual will need to be very self-motivated.
You will work in a team offering opportunity for growth and career progression, our client offers employees a wealth of experience within the opportunity to be involved in a variety of strong technical challenges to enhance individuals expertise and development.
Key responsibilities:

Controlling the supply of inventories and developing project implementation plans for all levels of inventory associated with all internal and external projects.
Liaise with the Supply Chain Manager in respect to commercial offers and contracts.
Develop and manage relationships throughout the supply chain in relation to inventory and stock.
Control material usage and material optimisation throughout the organisation.
Develop improvement plans across the organisation to ensure that all stock and inventory is well stored and controlled accurately.
Complete and control the stock inventory checks across the organisation, visiting sites frequently where necessary.
Raising of Purchase Orders when required.
Control of supply chain deliveries through expediting the current order book.
Compile a monthly report detailing all project plans and KPI’s.
Liaise with Operational Managers and Engineering at the start of new projects/contracts.
Candidate Essentials:

The right attitude and personality is absolutely key for this role. It's a great opportunity to be supported and developed throughout your career
Having ERP/MRP experience is essential, advanced Excel/technical skills would also be advantageous
You must have a full clean UK driving license and be able to visit sites all across the UK regularly
Overnight stays are essential for this role (fully reimbursed)
Qualifications:

Qualifications aren't essential for this role however you must have strong technical skills
Desirable:

Experience working within a high integrity industry would be desirable but not essential
