We're currently looking to recruit a Terminal Controller to join our team to for co-ordinate all landside & vessel related activities within Immingham Dry Bulks. The Terminal Controller will proactively manage the inbound & outbound cargo movements, terminal stocks, ships files & will be the front facing contact to the terminal’s customer base.

Accountabilities
- Manage, administer, and maintain the stock management system.
- Log, co-ordinate and monitor customer complaints.
- Collate operational month end figures to produce to finance.
- Manage, administer, and maintain the vessel schedules for the Terminal as required.
- Work with the operations team to plan and report (internally and externally) on the daily stock figures.
- Collate daily/weekly bagging plans
- Provide 1st point of contact for all terminal customers for complaints, stock queries and booking in & out of cargo.
- Management of stock loss & damage records, working with customer to bring an agreeable resolution in line with contracted terms.
- Oversee the smooth and effective planning, loading, arrival and departure of all collections supported by weighbridge operations
- Maintain a health and safe working environment, and work in accordance with the ABP health & safety policy at all times.
- Build & deliver completed vessel outturns to required stakeholders, maintain accurate ships files.
- Maintain & manage the terminal stocks in line with customs control requirements carrying out customs checks as required.
- Record & process terminal statistical data & input of KPI data.
- Working understanding of weighbridge processes.

**Key Requirements for the role are**:

- Experience in Port related operations
- Strong I.T skills which should include Outlook, Excel & Word
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills
- Meticulous attention to detail with the ability to multi-task
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent documentation management skills
- Brilliant oral and written communication skills
- A good working understanding of Terminal Operating Systems (TOS)
- A flexible approach to working hours and duties, shift working will be required and outside working in operational areas will may be expected from time to time

**Salary**: £28,000.00-£29,150.00 per year
