Based on the original stories of Mike and Alison Battle ‘Lapland’, the show, is a ground-breaking immersive theatrical production that brings to life the mythical elven world of Father Christmas. Lapland celebrates the wonderment of childhood through our magical world, rich story telling & memory making experiences.
Role - Ice Rink Assistant and Ice Skaters
Ice Skating is a must-do when visiting Lapland and our Ice Rink team make sure that ‘Father Christmas’ Frozen Pond’ is an enjoyable and safe experience for all guests, regardless of their age or ability
Responsibilities include:
Safety management of the ice rink, ensuring guests are using the facility in a safe and appropriate manner.
Pro-actively manage the condition of the ice rink, ensuring that the ice surface is maintained to standard through the operational day.
Manage the issue and collection office skates, safeguarding guests’ personal belongings and storing them appropriately.
Deliver a world-class service to guests, ensuring that any issues are resolved in-the-moment, with a touch of Lapland magic
Where is Lapland?
Lapland is based in Whitmoor Forest, in Crown Estate on Swinley Road, Winkfield Row near Ascot SL5 8BD.
Key Dates
PAID TRAINING: Your training plan will vary depending on your role. Training will take place on select dates between the end of October 2024 and the beginning of November 2024.
LIVE EVENT: In 2024 Lapland will run from Thursday 10th November – Saturday 24th December.
