The role includes:

* Having oversight of support packages including reviewing care plans and outcomes for the people we support

* Supporting the development of the staff team, including conducting supervisions and appraisals, ensuring staff have access to suitable learning and development opportunities and presenting self as a role model/mentor

* Assisting with the smooth running and day to day operations of the service

This post is for Afternoon/Evening/Weekends it is over a 4-5-day rota plan. Applicant will be working both in the home alongside other staff and also supporting individuals to access the community to complete the individuals interests and outcomes. Drivers are essential to complete these tasks within the homes own vehicle

On occasions if required applicant may need to complete Sleep in duties to help cover the home needs. The home supports 4 individuals and works low arousal and of a homely nature.

This advert is for a Permanent/Part-Time position, working 28 Hours Per Week. The salary for this position is £17,472.00 per annum.

You will be based at Pale Road Residential Services.

Your working pattern in this role will require flexibility to meet the needs of the people supported and their families, and will include evening and weekend working.

We need you to be: Resilient, supportive and sensitive towards the needs of autistic people. Suitable candidates will have experience of management and/or shift leading within a social care setting. Being a Senior Support Worker takes leadership skills, patience and commitment. But working with autistic people gives so much more in return.

To protect our autistic adults, all staff are required to have a criminal background check. Possession of an Enhanced DBS Check either on the Update Service or conducted within the last 12 months would be preferable but not essential.
