About the Quality Assurance Technologist job

The purpose of your role will be to ensure all site raw materials, including packaging, are compliant to food safety, quality, legal requirements and customer’s agreed requirements.

Key tasks

* Manage raw materials and packaging upon delivery to the factory for sampling.

* Send supplier non-conformance / rejection notifications and ensure investigations are carried out in a timely manner.

* Oversee electronic release of raw materials and packaging to production according to plan.

* Assist and organise laboratory collection and testing as required.

About You

* Experience in a similar role within a food manufacturing environment is desirable.

* Preferably a food science Graduate, or at least educated to A level standard in science subject.

* Laboratory or quality control experience gained within the food / beverages industry is an advantage.

* Access to own vehicle due to site location.

The Quality Assurance Technologist job is based in Essex and is paying c. £28,600 according to your experience.

The working hours are Monday to Friday and 40 hours per week. There is a little flexibility around these hours.
