Are you a Quantity Surveyor looking to make a move for 2025? James Gray Recruitment are actively recruiting a Quantity Surveyor on behalf of one of our key Civil engineering clients to join their team near Glasgow.

Our client:

* A leading UK business operating primarily within civil's and infrastructure schemes.

What you’ll be doing:

* The successful Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for preparing tender and contract documents, including performing risk, value management and cost control.

* Working on civil engineering and infrastructure projects, you will also be responsible for managing costs from inception to completion to minimise cost and maximising value for money.

* Change management and early warning

* Contract administration (NEC forms of contract)

What you will need to be successful:

* The ideal candidate will be degree-qualified, with at least an HNC in Quantity Surveying.

* Experience working within a civil engineering background.

* At least 3+ years’ post-graduate experience in Quantity Surveying;

* Experience in dealing with NEC Contracts is beneficial.

What’s in it for you?
