Product Research Manager – Twinings (Exclusive to Circle Foods)

Circle Foods has been exclusively retained by Twinings, the renowned tea brand, to find a forward-thinking Product Research Manager to drive consumer-led innovation through Consumer Sensory Science (CSS) and Consumer Tech Insights.

In this pivotal position, you’ll lead the charge in blending consumer insights with sensory research, helping to create products that will delight consumers and drive global growth. Reporting to the R&D Director, you’ll play a key role in delivering Twinings' 5-year brand vision across key markets like the UK, US, Australia, France, and Italy.

Key Responsibilities:

* Build World-Class Sensory Capability: Lead the development of sensory research and insights to improve product qualification and speed to market.

* Drive Consumer Delight: Develop consumer-product models to ensure innovations meet and exceed key drivers of consumer satisfaction.

* Create Winning Innovation Platforms: Partner across teams to bring consumer-led technologies and insights to the forefront of product development.

* Lead Product Stories and Claims: Leverage technical insights to craft compelling product claims and stories that enhance brand growth.

* Foster Consumer Centricity: Champion new methods and tools to integrate consumer feedback at every stage of the innovation cycle.

What You’ll Need:

* 8-10 years of experience in Consumer Sensory Science (CSS) within FMCG.

* A proven ability to translate sensory data into impactful, consumer-winning product innovations.

* Leadership experience, with a strong drive for consumer curiosity, commercial impact, and collaboration across R&D and commercial teams.

* Knowledge of digital and agile approaches to consumer research, with a passion for exploring new methodologies.
