Job Title: Conveyancing Legal Assistant

Salary: £23,000 - £26,000 D.O.E

We are looking for someone to join our team in the above role to provide effective support to our conveyancing department at the firm.

Duties of a Legal Assistant

You will be working as part of the conveyancing team and will be responsible for:

Preparing correspondence using our case management system.
Administering filing systems which will include daily filing and the opening, closing, storage and retrieval of client files
Preparing documents and enclosures for dispatch.
Diary Management.
Engaging with clients both in person and on the telephone.
Arranging relevant paperwork for scanning and photocopying.
Providing full support to our Solicitors to enable them to operate efficiently.
Attending to clients both on the telephone and in person.
Audio type from dictation.
Deal with routine client correspondence and queries.
Carrying out other duties and responsibilities as required.
Skills and experience

For this role you need have experience with;

Be highly organised, methodical, and adaptable.
Have excellent knowledge and experience within residential conveyancing.
Hold high levels of speed and accuracy.
Have a talented telephone manner and be comfortable speaking with clients both on the telephone and in person.
Demonstrate initiative and be able to undertake searches & ID checks.
Excellent audio typing from dictation skills.
Conveyancing 1 year experience (required)
