Learning & Development Specialist

We are currently looking for a Learning and Development Specialist to join our team to help design and deliver our core curriculum including the weekly new starter inductions. This will involve both onsite and offsite training.

Location: Reading/Basingstoke area

Salary: £35,950 - £42,000 (dependent on your suitability and level of experience)

What will you be required to do?

Deliver AWE core curriculum, from induction of new employees to Line Managers
Designing new learning interventions
Work on projects to deliver new learning initiatives across the business
Provide ongoing analysis of training
Collate, compile and report on training assessment results, training attendance and other training data.
Ensure training courses are loaded into Company training management system and kept up to date with any changes. Implement improvements where identified
Work with stakeholders to understand our development needs within the business to help deliver our mission
Work on projects across wider HR when required

Whilst not to be considered a check list, candidates should be able to demonstrate some of the following:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills and dealing with multiple stakeholders
Problem Solving
Excellent Presentation skills
Great attention to detail
Experience of designing and delivering training
Experience of working with schedules and deadlines

This job role is suitable for hybrid working, which is an informal, non-contractual and voluntary arrangement, blending a balance of attendance in the workplace (your permanent duty station) and working from home as a personal choice. If you are successful, any opportunities for hybrid working will be discussed with you prior to you taking up your post.

The successful candidate is required to carry out all their duties from a UK location and cannot do so from an overseas location at any time.

All candidates must be willing and able to apply for and maintain the correct security clearance for this role.
