As the Site Supervisor, you’ll take full charge of daily site operations, keeping things on track and ensuring high-quality results. If you’re a proactive Site Supervisor who knows how to manage teams and deliver groundworks projects on time, we want you This contract role offers an excellent day rate of £240 with the opportunity to be part of a high-profile project.

Your Role:

* Lead and manage site teams in all aspects of groundworks – from drainage and earthworks to foundations and site prep.

* Take control of daily operations, ensuring projects are delivered on time, to spec, and within safety guidelines.

* Act as the main on-site contact, coordinating with engineers, subcontractors, and clients to resolve issues quickly.

* Ensure full compliance with health and safety standards—conduct site inspections, lead toolbox talks, and enforce safe work practices.

* Track progress, manage resources, and report back to senior management.

* Maintain accurate site records, including daily reports and progress tracking.

What You Bring:

* Proven experience as a Site Supervisor in civil engineering with a strong focus on groundworks.

* Leadership skills to keep teams motivated and ensure efficient work under tight deadlines.

* Comprehensive understanding of construction processes, technical drawings, and health & safety regulations.

* CSCS card and SMSTS/SSSTS qualifications are essential.

* First Aid at Work is a bonus but not required
