Suitable if you are a Graduate of any subject or experienced Learning Support AssistantA Learning Support Assistant is needed in a Mixed Secondary School & Sixth Form in South London.

This will be a full time, long term Learning Support Assistant post, with scope to go permanent.

Working hours at the school are 8am to 4pm for a Learning Support Assistant.

Responsibilities for this Learning Support Assistant role will include but not be limited to:

Supporting identified students in 1:1, group or whole class situations
Working with the teachers to ensure each student's learning needs are identified
Leading small group sessions and interventions
Attending to students' personal needs when required
Supporting behaviour management and using appropriate strategies in line with academy policy
Undertaking learning activities/teaching programmes when neededThe rates of pay for this Learning Support Assistant position will be between £90 to £100 a day, depending on the qualifications and experiences of each applicant.

Requirements

Applications are welcome if you are a recent Graduate or experienced Learning Support Assistant.

You are also welcome to apply if you are a British trained Learning Support Assistant or overseas trained Learning Support Assistant.

Right to work in the UK
Clear and up to date Enhanced DBS
UK Bachelor's Degree or overseas equivalent
