Workshop Manager
Location: Widnes, Cheshire
Shift Pattern: Monday-Friday, 8am-5:30pm (45 hours per week)
Salary: Competitive salary + bonus & benefits
Contract Type: Permanent
We’re seeking a Workshop Manager for our client’s busy crash repair centre in Widnes You'll lead a team of panel beaters, paint sprayers, and MET technicians, ensuring all repairs meet quality and safety standards, while managing daily operations and working with department managers to improve efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee daily workshop operations and drive productivity.
* Supervise a team of 18 panel, paint, and MET technicians.
* Ensure repairs meet safety standards and are completed within KPIs.
* Maintain a clean and organised workspace.
* Provide technical support to customers and handle inquiries.
* Implement quality control procedures and collaborate with department managers.
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a managerial or supervisory role in the auto repair industry.
* Must have experience in crash repair.
* Strong knowledge of accident repairs, parts, and techniques.
* Leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
* Familiarity with health and safety regulations.
Commutable from: Liverpool, Manchester, St Helens, Warrington, Salford, Wigan, Bolton, and Stockport.
This role is ideal for individuals with experience in positions such as: Automotive Manager, Bodyshop Controller, Bodyshop Manager, Bodyshop Supervisor, Manager, Service Manager, Workshop Controller, Workshop Manager or Workshop Supervisor. If you have experience managing Paint Sprayers, Panel Beaters, Polisher, Preppers, MET Technicians or Vehicle Technicians, this role could be perfect for you
