An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Laser Operative to join a fast-growing company at its state-of-the-art fabrication facility on the outskirts of Preston. This role is offered on a 26-week contract basis, with the strong potential to transition into a permanent position for the ideal candidate. With a starting pay rate of £13.00 per hour (based on experience), you will have the chance to become part of a dynamic team during an exciting phase of company expansion.

Ideal Candidate:

This role would suit an experienced Laser Operative with strong attention to detail and hands-on experience in operating laser cutting machinery. Candidates should be proficient in running and maintaining laser machines, have the ability to work independently, and take pride in high-quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities:

Load and run laser cutting programs
Select and load appropriate materials
Set machine parameters and centre the nozzle
Clean the lens and perform routine maintenance
Break out laser-cut parts and mark them correctly
Follow safety protocols and operational guidelines
