Due to increased workload, we’re on the lookout for a Bench Worker/Binder Operative to join a growing company in Stevenage.

Are you the right person for the job?

To thrive in this role, you should have:

Good computer skills and familiarity with basic software.
Strong organisational, numeracy, and literacy skills.
A knack for clear verbal communication.
A “can-do” attitude with a good sense of humour (it helps under pressure).
Dependability, punctuality, and the ability to work both independently and in a team.
Flexibility to take on a variety of tasks.
Local to Stevenage (within a 30-minute commute of SG1 2XU).
Physically fit to meet the demands of the job.
Bonus: Prior experience in print finishing is great but not required—our client is happy to train the right person

What will your role look like?

Packing books, arranging courier collections, and managing deliveries.
Organising storage spaces, maintaining packaging supplies, and labelling goods accurately.
Assisting the bindery operative and contributing to other print-finishing tasks as needed.
Loading/unloading delivery vehicles and preparing delivery notes.
