Pro1 Education is dedicated to providing high-quality educational support, ensuring every child has the opportunity to thrive. We are currently seeking two dedicated Learning Support Assistant's to support pupils with SEMH between 11-16 years old at an OFSTED rated 'Good' Alternative Provision based in Solihull. These roles are permanent for the right candidates.

Time: 8:30am - 3:30pm

Pay: £80-95 per day

Key Responsibilities

Monitor and track student progress and behaviour

Assist teachers in delivering tailored educational programmes to meet the individual needs of SEMH pupils.

Provide one-on-one and small group support to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.

Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation and confidence.

Help implement behaviour management strategies to promote a safe and respectful learning environment.

Collaborate with teaching staff and other professionals to develop and implement individualized support plans.

Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to teachers and contributing to assessments.

Requirements

Previous experience working within an educational setting

Previous experience working within an alternative provision (ideal)

Right to work in the UK

A valid Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is preferred

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

A commitment to safeguarding and welfare of children

Experience working with SEND pupils
