SEND Cover Supervisor/ Special Needs Cover Supervisor in North Birmingham.

Are you looking for an exciting challenge? Are you a dedicated and supportive education practictioner looking for a Cover Supervision role?
Are you able to deliver engaging pre-prepared lessons to secondary age students with autism, severe learning difficulties and complex needs?

A Cover Supervisor is required for long term supply cover in an outstanding SEND school in North Birmingham. 

The role will be delivering an engaging curriculum and requires a versatile educator who is creative and caring in their approach. The school has a team of dedicated Teaching Assistants who provide fantastic support to the children.

The students are vulnerable and need that little bit extra support to develop socially as well as academically. The successful Cover Supervisor will have excellent communication skills and be able to de-escalate challenging behaviour quickly and efficiently. 

The school has an excellent reputation and is a great place to work; the staff are welcoming, friendly and supportive of one another.

The ideal Teacher will have:

The ability to follow the National Curriculum and provide creative lessons.
SEND experience. 
A positive approach to education.
The ability to build good relationships with the staff and pupils.
Fantastic classroom management.
