KS2 Teacher - January 2025
Darlington DL1 Area - Full Time
Vision for Education is currently recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic KS2 Teacher to work with Year 5/6 pupils in the DL1 area. This is a full-time position starting in January 2025, with the potential to continue on an ongoing basis.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging and well-planned lessons to Year 5/6 pupils in line with the national curriculum.
Create a positive and inclusive learning environment, supporting the academic and personal development of all students.
Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing constructive feedback and implementing strategies for improvement.
Work collaboratively with staff and parents to ensure the well-being and academic success of pupils.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Essential: A valid Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check.
Desirable: Prior experience teaching KS2 (particularly Year 5/6), although this is not essential. Passionate candidates with a strong commitment to working with children are encouraged to apply.
Requirements
To be considered for the Primary Teacher, you will:
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Will have recent experience working in a primary school and at KS2.
Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of teachers.
Have a passion for teaching with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessons.
