Are you a compassionate and dedicated teaching assistant looking to make a real difference in the lives of children with autism? We are seeking a skilled teaching assistant to join a supportive and inclusive school in Hammersmith and Fulham starting this January.
About the Role
As a teaching assistant, you will work closely with students with autism, providing tailored support to help them thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Key Responsibilities
Support children with autism on a one-to-one or small group basis, helping them access the curriculum effectively.
Collaborate with teachers to plan and deliver learning activities that cater to the individual needs of students.
Assist with classroom management and provide a safe, structured environment for students to flourish.
Promote social skills and emotional well-being through supportive interactions and positive reinforcement.
Monitor progress and provide feedback to teachers and parents.
About You
We are looking for a teaching assistant who:
Has experience working with children with autism or other special educational needs (SEN).
Is patient, empathetic, and passionate about supporting children with diverse learning needs.
Possesses strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
Can work effectively as part of a team to create an inclusive learning environment.
Holds relevant qualifications (e.g., CACHE Level 2/3, SEN training) or is willing to undergo training.
