Credit Controller - Remote / hybrid
Permanent Credit Controller opportunity that can be worked remote however the job holder must live within 45 minute drive of Camberley, Surrey as you’ll need to attend HO for training and meetings several times a month
* 37.5 hours per week worked Monday to Friday
* Salary £28,000 - £32,000 pa
Working for an established property management company (not estate / letting agency) as part of a busy, friendly accounts team carrying out daily credit control and query resolution
* Managing the collection and allocation of Property Service charges for block estates and managed residential apartments
* Sending out statements and payment schedules to landlords and property owners
* Sending 3 stage reminders via post / email
* Making some outbound calls to customers where they have more complex queries and arranging re-payment schedules
* Allocating payments received
* Initiating legal proceedings through small claims court in the case of non payment and pursuing through to settlement / judgement.
* Update of Excel spreadsheets and database to monitor and track all activity, progress status reporting
* Assisting the wider accounts team during quieter periods so some sales or purchase ledger knowledge along with reconciliations would be really useful
* Most communications are electronic but you will need good written English skills and the ability to speak confidently with customers, Property Managers and other business stakeholders.
We’re looking for an experienced Credit Controller or Debt Collector for this role. You’ll need to be confident, well organised, resilient and with good listening skills. Competency in Word, Excel and Outlook is required
