Based in the heart of Bermondsey, this school is looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team for an ASAP start. Key Responsibilities:

Support the classroom teacher in supporting SEN pupils.

Assist in planning and implementing activities in line with EHCPs.

Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.

Provide one-on-one support to children with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

Encourage social, emotional, and cognitive development.

Requirements:

Qualifications: Childcare qualification or equivalent.

Experience: Previous experience working with SEN children.

Knowledge: Understanding of SEN, including ASD and ADHD.

Desirable: Experience working with children with SEN within a school setting.
