Our client is seeking an experienced Cloud Architect to design and implement end-to-end solutions on Azure and AWS that are scalable, secure, and cost-efficient. This is a role for someone who thrives on complex cloud challenges, understands hybrid environments, and is ready to shape cloud strategy from the ground up.

What you’ll be doing:

* Architect and Design Cloud Solutions: Lead the design of comprehensive cloud solutions on Azure and AWS that align with business needs and technical requirements, ensuring security, scalability, and cost-efficiency.

* Cloud Strategy and Governance: Develop robust cloud strategies, frameworks, and best practices, ensuring alignment with company policies and industry standards.

* Hybrid and Multi-Cloud Environments: Design solutions that integrate on-premises data centres with multi-cloud environments, ensuring seamless interaction across platforms.

* Cloud Migration: Lead and execute migration projects, including assessment, planning, and migration of applications and data to cloud platforms like Azure or AWS.

* Solution Development: Collaborate with development teams to define technical architecture for new applications, optimizing cloud services, microservices, and APIs for performance.

* Security and Compliance: Implement and maintain security controls across cloud platforms, ensuring compliance with industry regulations such as GDS, DPR, and HIPAA.

* Cost Optimization: Analyze and optimize cloud costs, ensuring resources are efficiently allocated to meet performance requirements.

* Collaboration: Act as a bridge between business stakeholders, developers, and infrastructure teams, translating business requirements into technical solutions.

What you bring:

* Experience: 5+ years as a Solution Architect or Cloud Architect with a strong focus on Azure and AWS environments. Extensive experience in designing cloud architectures, particularly in hybrid and multi-cloud setups, and leading large-scale migration projects.

* Technical Skills: Proficiency in cloud services across both Azure and AWS (e.g., Azure Functions, AWS Lambda, Azure Kubernetes Service, AWS ECS), infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation), and cloud-native application architectures. Knowledge of automation and deployment tools, such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, Ansible, and Docker.

* Networking and Security: Expertise in networking, security, databases, and storage solutions in cloud environments, with a deep understanding of IAM and data protection.

* Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, exceptional communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences, and the ability to balance business and technical priorities.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Professional) or Azure Solutions Architect Expert.

* Security: Experience in cloud security best practices and DevSecOps.

* Containerization: Familiarity with Kubernetes (AKS, EKS) and Docker.

* Agile/Scrum: Understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
