Are you ready for a new challenge? A fantastic opportunity has opened up for a Technical Manager to join a thriving food manufacturing company in Edinburgh. This is your chance to make a real impact within a dynamic, fast-paced chilled food production environment.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for overseeing the technical and quality standards, ensuring that products meet strict safety regulations and quality expectations. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and lead the way in maintaining the highest standards for food safety and hygiene.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead and manage the technical team, ensuring all products meet regulatory and customer requirements.

* Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene across the facility.

* Manage audits and ensure compliance with industry standards.

* Collaborate with production, quality, and supply chain teams to optimise processes and improve efficiency.

* Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.

* Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the technical function.

What You Bring:

* Proven experience in a technical role within the food manufacturing industry, ideally within chilled products.

* A deep understanding of food safety standards and regulations.

* Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage and develop teams.

* A proactive approach to problem-solving and a passion for quality.

* Excellent communication and organisational skills.

This role offers a competitive salary of £48k to £55k, depending on experience, and is perfect for someone looking to take the next step in their career within a leading food manufacturer.
