Job Title: Tax Consultant
Location: London
Contract Type: 12-month contract

Search Consultancy is partnering with a global financial services firm to recruit a Tax Consultant for their tax team based in London. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading firm and contribute to their tax compliance and strategy efforts.

Key Responsibilities:
* Provide tax considerations into key business decisions and participate in or drive group tax projects.
* Manage and advise on cross-border working arrangements, including permanent establishment matters.
* Establish and maintain close partnerships with key business functions, including Finance, Legal, HR, Treasury, and Business Units.
* Proactively monitor international tax legislative changes, assess their impact on the business, and propose action plans.
* Manage tax compliance, audits, and reporting within the UK and EMEA regions, advising on technical and strategic matters.
* Review quarterly effective tax rates for US GAAP and IFRS reporting.
* Develop and mentor junior team members, providing technical training and support.
* Support innovation and process efficiency initiatives.

Skills and Experience Required:
* Proficient knowledge and experience in UK Corporation Tax. Experience in other EMEA jurisdictions is advantageous.
* ACCA/CIMA/CA or ATT/CTA qualifications.
* 8+ years of UK Corporation tax work experience in practice or industry.
* Strong project management skills.
* Experience working in collaborative teams, providing training, and motivating others.
* Ability to work with virtual teams across varying regions towards common goals.
* Aptitude for working in a dynamic, swiftly changing environment.
* Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
* Self-motivated with high standards for quality of work, controls, and accuracy.
* Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word). Experience with Alphatax is an advantage.

Additional Information:
* Hybrid working model: 3 days in the office.
* Candidates must have access to a personal device for remote work.
