SEEKING A HIGHLY SKILLED SEND PLAN WRITER

About our client:

- Start Date: January 6th, 2025
- End Date: August 1st, 2025
- Contract Length: 7 months
- Working Pattern: Full Time
Responsibilities and Benefits:
Collaborate with children, young people, and their parents/carers to identify and meet their educational needs.
Preparation and timely amendment of Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) in accordance with relevant legislation.
Maintain effective communication with young people and their parents/carers throughout the assessment and review process.
Liaise with various agencies, such as NHS Trusts, Clinical Commissioning Groups, and Social Care, to ensure the best outcomes for children and young people.

Knowledge of relevant legislation, including the Children and Families Act 2014 and SEND Code of Practise.
Strong written communication skills to draught and amend EHCPs accurately and within statutory timelines.
Ability to work independently and make decisions while adhering to established guidelines.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build positive relationships with various stakeholders.
Proficient in maintaining accurate records and producing reports.
