Freezer Warehouse Operative

As a Freezer Warehouse Operative for Ocado Logistics, you are at the heart of preparing orders for customers. Pick a career packed with opportunities at our warehouse in Erith, Kent. We’ve got many shift options available, including four 10-hour shifts, so you can enjoy three days off each week

Core Roster Option: Plan your work-life balance with our core roster. Receive your work pattern 13 weeks in advance giving you bags of time to plan time with your family and friends.

Area: Despatch

Description: Picking and packing the frozen items for customer orders into totes. We want you to delight our customers so high standards and great care are essential. Full freezer gear is provided as you will be working in temperatures up to -25℃

Days Shifts: 06:00 - 15:00

Nights Shifts: 18:00 - 06:00

Salary: £12.97 up to £18.61 per hour with our premiums and overtime rate

* Starting rate - £12.97 per hour (basic rate £11.87 + £1.10 freezer premium)

* Freezer premium - plus £1.10 per hour

* Night shift premium (between the hours of midnight and 6am) - plus £2.67 per hour

* Performance based incentives available when targets are met

* Overtime paid at basic x 1.25

* Our roles require you to be on your feet and mobile at all times as well as carrying out repetitive tasks and potentially lifting up to 25kg weights.

* You will be required to handle both meat and alcohol products.

* We will provide you with great training and the correct Personal Protective Equipment.
