The Company

Our client has grown to be one of the UK’s largest suppliers of product into the Civil, Groundwork and Construction industry. With continued support for training with a guarantee that personal development will be encouraged and promoted our client is now looking to expand their operations in the Sutton-in-Ashfield area by recruiting this role.

The Role

This is an important role in the company’s strategy and requires an individual of a strong sales background selling to business, this could be construction or building products, or strong technical sales, account management or customers service background. This is an internal sales role operating all over the local area, you will be responsible for customers when they call the branch with enquiries for the supply of product, putting together the lists of products they require.

This is a reactive role requiring very little new business, however applicants who have new business experience would be of interest as well, managing existing long-standing accounts, building strong business relationships and making sure that our clients customers feel well looked after and valued.

You will work as part of a team in the office advising customers on products, costings and delivery and will play an integral part in the company’s development.

The Candidate

Suitable applicants must be able to show strong customer interaction experience, sales, internal account management or customer service capability (personality, enthusiasm, and attitude) and be looking for a challenging new role. Customer Service, Sales Admin or Sales experience is ideal. Candidates presently in a Sales Admin, Internal Sales, Counter Sales, Account Management, Builders Merchant, Cement, Concrete, Aggregate or Steel, Business to Business sales role dealing with the construction market or similar would be of great interest. £28-32K Basic Salary + Full company benefits
