School Receptionist

We are seeking a friendly and professional School Receptionist to join a local Wolverhampton School.
The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for parents, pupils, and visitors, ensuring a warm and welcoming environment for all. An Enhanced DBS is required for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet and welcome visitors, parents, and pupils
Manage incoming and outgoing phone calls and emails
Maintain accurate records of attendance and absence
Assist with administrative tasks such as photocopying, filing, and data entry
Ensure the reception area is tidy and presentable
Handle confidential information with discretion
Support the school office with various administrative dutiesRequirements:

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Highly organised with meticulous attention to detail
Previous experience in a receptionist role is desirable
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Diplomatic and discreet in handling sensitive information
Use of specialised software, such as SIMS would be advantageous
An Enhanced DBS is required for this position
