Operating times – 4 shifts per week between hours of (Apply online only), with participation in on
call/stand by shifts
Salary up to £38,374, plus shift enhancements and benefits
The theatres across our facilities, provide a vibrant, exciting and professional environment where the advance equipment and technology is second to none. . Established for over 50 years Rated as 'outstanding' by the CQC, This hospital campus has 10 Operating theatres, and offers a wide range of surgeries from, Cardiac, Ortho, Liver, Neuro, Urology, Spinal and General. Successful candidates will be part of a large theatre team of colleagues, experienced professionals.
Duties & Responsibilities
* Deliver a consistently high standard of patient care utilising evidence based practice
* Assessing, planning, delivering and evaluation of all aspect of patient care
* Prepare patients and provide assistance for clinical/operative procedures
* Participate fully as a team member, including working in all areas of the theatre suite, sharing knowledge and information and supporting colleagues, to promote a cohesive team and the achievement of team objectives
Skills & Experience
* Experienced Theatre Nurse, or Operating Department Practitioner (ODP)
* Current HCPC/NMC Registration
* Post graduate experience in Theatres
* Surgical (scrub) experience
