Salary: Between £100 and £120 a day depending on experience
Tradewind Recruitment has an exciting opportunity for a Design and Technology Technician to work at a creative secondary school in the Thanet area. The role is for an immediate start and will be on an ongoing basis.
The role:
Support the Design and Technology Department in preparing materials, equipment and resources for practical lessons
Assisting teachers during the practical lessons providing guidance and support to students when needed
Maintaining and organising the classroom and equipment to ensure a safe learning environment for the studentsRequirements:
Degree in Product Design and Technology or similar
Experience of working in a similar role within a school or educational setting
A passion for Design and Technology and a willingness to adapt quickly to changing situations
Excellent communication skills in order to work effectively with students and others within the Department and wider school
Hold or be willing to apply for an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible
