Full job description

This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor, ideally from a Tier 1 or Main Contractor background based on site on a 30 million pound mixed use student accommodation block.

Contract 3 Months plus, Rate negotiable.

Quantity Surveyor roles and responsibilities:

Full commercial administration of contracts.
Working with Commercial Director and wider team..
Monitoring & reviewing progress on site in line with commercials and programme.
Agreeing monthly payment valuations.
Agreeing instructions, change and processing variations.
Take-off's and Remeasurement
Attending client and project progress meetings.
Agreeing Final Accounts.Quantity Surveyor requirements:

Degree or HNC/HND Quantity Surveying or construction related qualification.
5 - 10 years' experience working within the construction industry.
Sector experience within modular and new build
Experienced in self-delivery of projects from award to final accounts.
Able to produce quotations from drawings, price variations, do Take-Offs and remeasure.
Well organised, diligent, self-motivated, and proactive.
Full UK driving license.PAYE rate £30ph
