TeacherActive is excited to partner with one of Chippenham’s esteemed schools to recruit for a cover supervisor. The role is to start in January 2025, and will continue up until the end of the academic year, and is a full time role. Hours are 8am to 4pm.

 About the Role:

As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a positive and productive learning environment during teachers' absences. Your responsibilities will include:

Supervising and supporting students across various year groups
Ensuring classroom activities run smoothly and safely
Assisting with lesson plans and classroom management
Providing feedback to teaching staff to enhance student learning
 What We’re Looking For:

Qualifications: Relevant teaching or supervisory qualifications (e.g., QTS, NVQ Level 3 in Education and Training)
Experience: Previous experience in an educational setting is preferred
Skills: Strong communication, organisational abilities, and a passion for education
Attributes: Reliable, adaptable, and able to engage and motivate students
