Many students also have complex medical needs and sensory/physical impairments. Our Partner School Offers:
• A well-resourced environment with exceptional facilities

Role Responsibilities:
• Support students with their learning, development, and progress across all areas of the curriculum in various settings, including classrooms, local environments, and the community
• Assist young people with a range of needs, including PMLD, complex medical conditions, and autism, to achieve their educational and personal goals
• Foster an environment that promotes equality, diversity, and the rights of all young people to be recognized as learners and treated with respect
• Emphasize support and empowerment of young people
• Develop a deeper understanding of Special Education issues and the values of Simply Education, demonstrating these in all aspects of the role
• Provide high-quality support in all facets of the role
• Participate in physical interventions and personal care routines as required
We Are Looking For Candidates Who Are:
• Willing and able to pursue formal qualifications, attend training, and take responsibility for their own development—all fully funded by Simply Education
• Passionate and compassionate towards children and young people with additional needs
• Ambitious and determined to overcome barriers to learning
• Enthusiastic about outdoor and community learning
• Capable of recognizing potential rather than focusing on disabilities
• Fully committed to safeguarding values and procedures
• Proactive and solution-focused creative thinkers
• Able to work both collaboratively as a team member and independently with confidentiality across various settings
• Possess excellent communication skills, particularly in relation to students' communication needs
• Skilled in understanding and delivering effective education and support in line with identified needs
• Educated to at least Level 2 (or equivalent) in Maths and English
Benefits:
• Join an accredited, highly skilled specialist team
• Be part of a growing team with shared values and vision
• Opportunities for meaningful career development
• Fully funded training and qualifications
• Life assurance
• Enhanced pension scheme (from October)
• Perk Box offering high street discounts
• Employee assistance programme
• Bike to work scheme
• Car lease scheme
How to Apply:
Please apply for this role and one of our consultants will get in contact.
Additional Information: Successful applicants will undergo pre-employment safeguarding checks, including an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. This position is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974, and Simply Education may ask applicants to declare all convictions and cautions (including "spent" convictions unless protected under DBS filtering rules) to assess suitability for working with children.
Simply Education is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young adults in our care. We are a disability confident and equal opportunities employer.
