Key Responsibilities for the Computer Science Teacher role:

Deliver engaging and thought-provoking lessons across Key Stages 3 to 5, fostering a deep understanding of Computer Science.
Encourage problem-solving and analytical thinking through teaching coding, computational thinking, and real-world applications.
Monitor and assess student progress, offering personalised feedback and interventions to help each learner reach their potential.
Stay up-to-date with the latest technological advancements and collaborate with colleagues to ensure a modern and relevant curriculum.

The successful Computer Science Teacher must:

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a specialism in Computer Science or ICT.
Be a Passionate Technologist: Have a deep understanding of computing principles, programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, or C++), and emerging technologies.
Be a Strong Communicator: Ability to break down complex concepts into accessible and engaging content.
Be a Dedicated Educator: Committed to supporting students’ growth both academically and personally.
